Job Title: Clinical Services RN – Pool Nurse

Schedule:
Thursday–Saturday | 10-hour shifts | 30 hours/week
Includes every weekend except Sundays. May occasionally work up to 40 hours. No overtime offered.

Pay: $45–$49/hour

Position Summary:

The RN provides direct nursing care, health screenings, and emergency response for youth in a correctional setting. The role includes medication administration, monitoring vitals, and collaborating with health services team members to ensure youth safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and respond to youth health concerns; advise on treatment procedures.

  • Obtain and process blood, urine, or other specimens.

  • Monitor, record, and report changes in youth vitals or conditions.

  • Administer medications and observe for adverse reactions.

  • Conduct intake health screenings for newly incarcerated youth.

  • Provide direct patient care and emergency care to youth and staff as needed.

  • Consult with health services team and maintain medical records.

  • Administer vaccinations and assist with annual TB tests.

  • Maintain medical supplies and equipment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Professional nursing knowledge and clinical assessment skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to respond professionally to medical emergencies.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years RN experience.

  • Active Arizona RN license.

Preferred: Corrections experience.
