We are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join out AtWork team in the Tyler, TX area.  
 

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the payroll life cycle of 50+ employees, from data entry of new hires, to conducting new hire orientation as it pertains to payroll procedures. Will provide guidance, as well as problem solving services for various managers as it relates to timekeeping and auditing records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform primary Payroll responsibilities of preparing, submitting and processing payroll, auditing timesheets and payroll data each weekly pay period.
• Process employee deduction forms.
• Enter and maintain new hires, terms, employee assignments in the time and attendance system.
• Assist with the preparation of employee time card badge, replacements, etc.
• Resolve all timekeeping questions employees & managers.
• Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years’ experience in Payroll Processing
• Demonstrated proficiency in various systems, including report writing, as well as strong proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with the high volume Payroll and HR tracking systems.
