A manufacturing warehouse in Tyler, Texas is currently in need of a Printing and Converting Supervisor

Schedule: Monday through Friday and every other weekend

Weekly pay, Full-time, plus Health Benefits

Job description: The printing and converting supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of the printing, pre-press, and converting department's operations, including personnel, machinery, schedule fulfillment, productivity, waste management, safety, environmental conditions, and housekeeping.

Essential job responsibilities: 

• Assist operators with problem solving techniques and application of sound operating practices.
• Coordinate with maintenance department for repairs, PM's or project work associated within both departments.
• Actively promote safety and ensure all employees are knowledgeable and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in accident investigations and provide documentation as required by company policy.
• Hold monthly safety meeting within department.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma 
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2-3 years supervisory experience

Required skills:

• Working knowledge of flexographic printing process
• PC knowledge including MS Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Detailed orientated along with good organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate employees

Must be able to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening test
