Electronic Test Technician - $70K+Benefits, including 100% Premium Paid Family Medical

Currently looking for an experienced Electronic Test Technician to join a Growing Company that provides development and field services for Digital Signal Processing (DSP) products that support the U.S. Defense, Intelligence, and National Security Agencies.
The Electronic Test Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced and a highly diverse family of parts/products including CCAs and chassis.

Compensation: $68-70K+, Excellent Benefits including Medical (100% Premiums paid for employee and family), Dental, Vision, ESOP, 401K plus Match, Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, PTO, & Holidays.

Main Duties:

  • Test, Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, computer, laboratory, and scientific systems and/or equipment.
  • Observes, analyzes, and reports test data; and when appropriate, makes necessary repairs to equipment.
  • Utilizes various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and other related documentation in the performance of their tasks. May include configuration/data management.
  • Assists in the development of procedures.
  • Set up and operation of testing equipment. Troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physical movement of materials on and off testing platforms.
     

Requirements:

  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level and effectively identify failure trends.
  • Aid the team in isolating problems between the test environment the units test under and resolve as necessary.
  • Help select appropriate test equipment and configure it based on test specifications.
  • Effectively communicate technical issues to the engineering team regarding test reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Repair/manufacturing/production test environment.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be well versed in computer architectures and data protocols in order to facilitate networking/interfacing with test equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
  • US Citizenship Required

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in the use of computers and software applications (both desktop and technical)
  • Associate's degree in electronic sciences
  • Experience using a wide variety of electronic RF/Analog, High Voltage, Digital and other electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Power Meters.
  • Familiarity in these testing areas: Insertion Loss, VSWR, Phase, gain, SFDR, SNR, Harmonics, S-band, L- band and X-Band frequencies.
  • Experience inspecting CCAs to IPC 610A or equivalent.
