Urgent Need Physical Therapist
Pay: 85-90 Hour 
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM | 40 hours/week
No weekends. No overtime. If daily work is completed early, staff may be sent home.

Essential Functions

• Evaluate physician referrals and resident medical records to develop individualized Physical Therapy treatment plans.

• Perform assessments using appropriate evaluation techniques and administer prescribed therapy programs.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities to improve function and prevent disability.

• Collaborate with OT, SLP, and Nursing to coordinate comprehensive resident care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation; reassess and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Educate residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members on therapy goals and expectations.

• Supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure productivity and quality of care.

• Provide in-service training to develop PT staff skills.

• Follow facility policies and uphold the mission, vision, and standards of care.

• Use technology effectively for documentation and care delivery.

• Protect resident confidentiality and uphold compliance standards.

• Maintain professional development through ongoing education and training.

• Assist team members as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; valid Arizona PT license required.

• Preferred: 1 year of experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation (new grads welcome to apply).

• Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse resident populations.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong observation, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy.

• Arizona Physical Therapist license required.
