Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

Essential Job Duties:

• Verify patient insurance, demographics, and authorization to minimize denials
• Ensure accurate medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and charging for services
• Submitting electronic claims to payers and following up on denied or unpaid claims
• Monitor outstanding balances, handling collections, and managing payment posting
• Adhere to regulatory guidelines (HIPAA) to prevent financial or legal risks

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in EHR systems, medical billing software, and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of ICD-10 codes and insurance payer rules such as medicare, medicaid, private insurance
• High School Diploma
