Intervenor Specialist
Location:  Phoenix, Az | Schedule: Full -Time 7a-3p  Pay: 24hr

We’re seeking a compassionate Intervenor Specialist to support a student with deaf-blindness in a classroom setting. This role involves assisting with communication, learning activities, and daily needs while following the student’s IEP.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one classroom support.

• Implement modifications and communication techniques.

• Assist with concept development, social interaction, and daily care (feeding, toileting, hygiene).

• Collaborate with teachers and IEP team on student progress.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits (or para-educator exam).

• CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention (or ability to obtain).

• Ability to pass background check or have a Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Willing to learn basic sign language (ASL).

Preferred:

• Experience with young children or special education.

• Knowledge of Braille a plus.
