Grinder – 3rd Shift

Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Grinder / Metal Finisher to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and finishing metal components, ensuring high-quality cosmetic standards and readiness for secondary operations such as powder coating.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hand-held grinders to finish sheet metal components to specification.

• Deburr, buff, and polish surfaces to meet Class B or C cosmetic standards.

• Inspect and correct defects including scratches, weld excess, burrs, or surface irregularities.

• Ensure all work is completed safely with appropriate machine guarding and PPE.

• Maintain equipment and perform general upkeep as needed.

• Support additional production or finishing tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in metal grinding, finishing, or similar trade.

• Familiarity with sheet metal, weld finishing, and industrial tools.

Physical & Work Environment Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

• Must be able to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and visual acuity, including depth perception and color vision.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing environment.
