Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Urgently Hiring Tucson, AZ
Overview:
We are seeking a SLPA to support students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP). You will assist with therapy activities, conduct screenings, document progress, and help implement IEP plans to enhance students’ communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language screenings
- Implement documented IEP plans and report student progress to the SLP
- Assist with assessments, therapy materials, and classroom activities
- Adapt instructional materials to meet student needs
- Maintain student records, charts, and reports
Requirements:
- Active Arizona SLPA license
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 40 hrs/week
Pay: $34–$36/hr
