Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a crucial member of our customer service team, you will be the first point of contact for our diverse member base, providing exceptional service in both English and Spanish. Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with their financial needs, inquiries, and account maintenance in a courteous and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and account information.
- Assist members in opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and resolving account issues.
- Educate members on financial products and services that best meet their needs.
- Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex member issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to privacy regulations.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the financial industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software.
Shifts: 8AM-5PM
