Position Overview

• This role requires expertise in procurement, logistics coordination, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, ensure timely deliveries, and support company-wide logistics strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily freight and logistics activities across multiple sites.
• Oversee procurement and vendor negotiations to secure cost-effective and reliable freight services.
• Lead and mentor logistics staff across locations, fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Develop and enforce logistics processes to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
• Track and manage freight activity, inventory levels, and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with site managers and internal departments on shipping schedules and logistics planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with freight carriers, suppliers, and external partners.
• Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure safety protocols and compliance standards are met at all times.
• Generate reports on freight costs, KPIs, and operational metrics for senior leadership

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in freight logistics, supply chain, or procurement leadership.
• Experience managing multi-site logistics operations and teams.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in logistics and procurement systems (TMS, ERP preferred)
• In-depth understanding of shipping regulations and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
