Looking to add a second shift mechanic to a production facility in Tyler, TX!

Shift: 10-12 hour shifts

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the production floor and the entire facility.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following skills: Basic plumbing, Basic Industrial electrical, machine repair, plant layout, painting, and janitorial.
• Required to be familiar with and use all hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, O.E.M. instructions and specifications.
• Must feel comfortable with working in a team environment consisting of JSF employees and outside contractors.
• Required to use considerable judgment when performing and planning to perform his/her tasks.
