AtWork Personnel has an excellent opportunity available! We are seeking to hire a Field Service Technician for the DFW area! 

Day shift Monday through Friday 7am-4pm (Overtime as necessary)
Compensation: $25-$38 per hour

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Job Description: The Service Technician serves as an ambassador for the Company and is responsible for managing equipment installation and repairs for air compressors, dryers, tanks, and all related compressed air products. Services are performed on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: Service Technician Servicing air compressors, dryers, filters, and related compressed air equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and evaluate electrical diagrams and machine faults.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical duties to repair, maintain, survey, and commission compressed air equipment.
  • Resolve customer initiated technical issues.
  • Visit customer sites for courtesy calls on days without paid jobs.
  • Work with Fluid Flow Account Managers and management to increase Service and aftermarket revenue.
  • Provide technical service, start-ups, installation and repairs of air compressors, dryers, tanks, and all related compressed air products.
  • Complete written evaluations, recommendations, and related company reports. Ability to work with service software for communication and scheduling.
  • Positive attitude and desire to grow an existing sales & service business.
  • Able to care and maintain a company vehicle.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Specific tasks include:

  • Remove, rebuild, and replace valves weighing up to 60 pounds, unassisted.
  • Remove and replace pipe spools up to 8” in diameter.
  • Perform electrical tests with a voltmeter.
  • Program, troubleshoot microprocessor and PLC-based equipment controls.
  • Climb and work on scaffolding.
  • Complete daily reports by computer.
  • Dump and load air dryer desiccant by hand in 50# sacks.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a nationwide background check.
  • Must be able to pass a Lab Drug Screen.
  • Must have a valid license.
