We are looking to add welders to a growing facility in Arlington - 76010

Pay - $20.50/hr - $22/hr with weekly pay
Expected hours - 40-45 weekly

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding metal components using a variety of welding techniques. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work with different materials and in various environments. The Welder will work closely with other team members to ensure that high-quality, safe, and accurate welded structures and components are produced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld metal parts using TIG, MIG, or other welding processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and blueprints.
• Inspect welded components for quality and integrity.
• Measure and cut metal pieces to size as required for specific jobs.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings for different materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Work with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot and repair welds when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder (3 – 5 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in various welding techniques such as TIG and MIG welding.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and use of protective equipment.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work in challenging environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification from a recognized welding association (e.g., AWS, ASME).
• Experience with welding in different industries such as construction, automotive, or manufacturing.
• Ability to operate power tools and cutting equipment.

Work Environment:

• Will be required to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, workshops, or factories.
• Some lifting, standing, and bending required.
