Now hiring Cafeteria Cooks in Tyler, TX.

Hourly Wage: $16/HR

Shift: 7AM - 3:30pm with rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Cooking to order on GRILL STATION for BF and Lunch, serving on a hot line to customers, keeping food under controlled temperature and portion correctly.
• Taking temperatures of protein to ensure they are cooked to correct safe temperature.
• Assist with prep for catering.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred..
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).

Working Conditions:

This position requires working on your feet, lifting heavy objects, and working in a busy kitchen environment within a hospital setting. The ability to bend, stoop, and move swiftly is essential.
