Location: Tucson 85714 | Experience Required: 1+ year in direct care

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to coach, mentor, and provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy) in a group home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, toileting, meals, etc.

• Support skill development and independence through structured activities

• Prepare and serve meals, assist with special diets

• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment

• Administer medications and provide basic health care

• Follow each member’s Person-Centered Service Plan and behavioral supports

• Engage members in recreational and community activities

• Document progress and communicate with the care team

• Attend team meetings and required training's

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in direct care or similar setting

• Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written); sign language is a plus

• Must be able to read and follow care plans and written instructions

• Basic computer skills for documentation and training

Preferred Skills

• Experience with personal care, medication administration, and therapeutic support

• Familiarity with behavior support techniques and specialized meal plans
