Delivery Driver – Job Description

We are seeking reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join our team. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting and delivering orders while ensuring accuracy, excellent customer service, and timely completion of routes.

Pay - $20/hr
Day Shift - Starts at 7am and ends when route is completed (typically around 6pm)
Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up delivery documents and equipment (iPad, headset, clipboard) and review daily route instructions
• Verify all orders are loaded correctly and secure pallets for safe transport
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Use routing software to manage deliveries and confirm addresses
• Communicate with customers prior to arrival and provide delivery updates
• Deliver products to designated areas, using equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies
• Verify orders with customers, obtain signatures, and document deliveries with photos
• Report shortages, damages, or delivery issues to the shipping manager
• Maintain safety standards while driving and handling deliveries
• Complete all deliveries within scheduled timelines, including a 30-minute lunch during route
• Return to warehouse at end of day to unload, process returns, and submit paperwork
• Turn in company equipment daily and maintain responsibility for assigned tools and vehicle

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy items using proper equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
