Join an amazing educational team in the upcoming 2020-2021 school year in Phoenix, AZ. We are currently hiring for experienced Educational Speech-Language Pathologists to support students K-8. In this role, our Educational Speech-Language Pathologist will help prevent communication problems by identifying kids at risk of developing their skills. As much as possible, they keep the children in regular class settings, although sometimes putting them in special groups outside the class will help students achieve their academic plans.

Responsibilities include assessing student communication skills through testing and evaluation tools. Using the findings to develop and implement IEPs to help students progress. The Educational Speech-Language Pathologist will assist teams of professionals to develop a curriculum that can help build communication skills not only for their clients but for the school population as a whole. Research into communication impairments and advocate for programs to help students will play a big part in this role. Collaboration with other professionals in care plans and explaining progress to the parents and keeping daily notes of their programs are keys to success in this position.

Qualifications Required:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Arizona Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Current Arizona Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist License
American Hearing and Speech Association Clinical Certification of Competence preferred - Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
