AtWork Personnel in Tyler has a great opportunity available! We are seeking Material Handlers for a Distribution Facility located in Kilgore, TX!

Shifts: Days
Schedule: Monday through Friday *NO WEEKENDS!*
Compensation: $17-$18 depending on experience

Ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Sort cargo before loading and unloading
• Attach identifying information to pallets to ensure driver's ease of delivery and good customer experience
• Read and follow truck loading forecasts summaries
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy
• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials
• Meet quality and production standards by ensuring customer receives the right product, in the right quantity and in the best condition
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Communicate truck route changes with other departments as necessary
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a material handler/ or as an order picker in a distribution facility environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
