Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Lower Buckeye Jail Infirmary – Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks

About the Role

AtWork is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. This position is ideal for a dependable and compassionate professional dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a secure medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care within the scope of CNA practice under the supervision of medical or nursing personnel

• Prepare patients for exams and treatments, record vital signs, and document patient information

• Perform venipuncture, lab tests, and assist with office procedures

• Support patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

• Maintain exam/procedure rooms and ensure supplies are adequately stocked

• Transcribe provider orders and schedule follow-up appointments

• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Qualifications

- Current, valid, unrestricted CNA license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State
- Current PSV verification from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (License Lookup)
- Current fit testing for N95 particulate respirators
- Current First Aid Certification
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a CNA
