We are looking for a professional Medical Billing & Claims Specialist to join our growing Las Vegas medical team!   

Must live in Las Vegas-this is an onsite in office role in Las Vegas, NV 89106
Full Time- Monday thru Friday, weekends off!
Set schedule could be 7:30am-4:40pm or 8am to 5pm
Pay rate $16-$18 per hour and based on experience
Uniform is black scrubs and closed toe shoes
Paid weekly, plus benefits

Responsibilities

• File all insurance claims daily using appropriate codes using ICD-9 and CPT coding systems.
• Post daily clinic charges for all locations
• Attend to any rejected claims
• Distribute all payments to charges
• Run necessary reports on a daily basis for unapplied amounts or unbilled accounts 

Ideal Candidate must have

• Knowledge of CPT codes
• Must have 1-2 years of insurance experience
• Must have 1 year of Medical office, billing, insurance verification, handling appeals, claims or medical charge posting experience
• Good customer service skills to answer calls from insurance companies and patients about bills
• Willingness to grow within organization
• Excellent team work skills
• Ability to operate a computer and experience using medical software
• Ability to multitask and have great organizational skills
• Attention to detail
