We currently have a need at a local woodworking business! We are looking for sanders/finishers/assemblers to join the cabinet department. 
This is an entry-level, temp-to-hire position located in North Phoenix. 

Responsibilities

• Apply filler compound and coats of finish to seal the wood
• Attach sandpaper to rollers of sanding equipment
• Guide sanding machines over surfaces until they are smooth
• Final product inspection for smoothness and defects
• Remove excess glue from joints, using knives, scrapers, or wood chisels
• Other duties as related to the position

Ideal Candidate will have...

• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift
• Position requires physical activity such as pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, and stooping
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a team environment

Salary:  $12.00 / hr.  This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with our client. We desire candidates looking for long-term employment. 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
