Booth Cashier – Job Description

This position requires using an iPad to input customer orders in a fast-paced environment. You may also utilize a handheld ticket scanner to scan guest tickets upon entry to the event, which requires speed and accuracy. You will be on your feet for your entire shift.

Additional duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working in a food booth and assisting with order-taking and order call-out for pickup
  • Food preparation support, including working at juice booths (baby bottle and animal bottle styles)
  • Handling frozen squid, including defrosting, skewering, and frying
  • Working with oysters, including placing them on a grill
  • Stirring noodles and sauces
  • Assisting in any capacity reasonably required to support booth operations

All instructions and training will be delivered in the English language, either verbally or in writing.


Food Prep – Job Description

This position is primarily focused on food preparation and booth support in a fast-paced environment. You will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Working in a food booth and assisting with order-taking and order call-out for pickup
  • Food preparation support, including working at juice booths (baby bottle and animal bottle styles)
  • Handling frozen squid, including defrosting, skewering, and frying
  • Working with oysters, including placing them on a grill
  • Stirring noodles and sauces
  • Operating an iPad to submit customer orders
  • Using a handheld ticket scanner to scan guest tickets upon event entry, requiring speed and accuracy

All instructions and training will be delivered in the English language, either verbally or in writing.


Employee Dress Code

All employees are expected to report to their shift in clean, professional attire that meets the following requirements.

Shirts

  • Must be a plain black T-shirt or polo with sleeves that cover the shoulders
  • Must cover the midriff and not be excessively revealing
  • Free of rips, tears, or holes
  • Free of obscene, offensive, or vulgar language or imagery

Pants

  • Must be black and made of a cloth-type material; denim/jeans are strongly discouraged
  • Must be worn at the waist, with or without a belt
  • Free of rips, tears, or holes
  • The following are not permitted: yoga pants, sweatpants, spandex, or shorts

Footwear

  • Must be closed-toe and suitable for extended standing and walking
  • The following are not permitted: sandals, Crocs, slides, slippers, or high heels
