Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN)
Location: Arizona
Schedule: Flexible – options: 7am–3pm, 8am–4pm, or 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, no weekends

Overview:
Seeking a licensed RN or LPN to provide specialized wound care for residents. This role includes assessment, management, and prevention of wounds, ostomies, and skin breakdown while serving as a clinical resource for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform wound assessments, reassessments, and management per facility policies

• Develop skin care programs to prevent skin breakdown

• Participate in policy development for wound care, ostomy care, and incontinence management

• Revise and evaluate care plans based on patient response

• Assess and manage pain; educate residents and families

• Provide in-services and training to nursing staff on wound care and prevention

• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure documentation meets current standards and maintain compliance

• Stay current on wound care advancements and participate in continuing education

Requirements:

• Current Arizona RN or LPN license

• CWOCN or CWCN certification

• DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred

• Ability to complete TB testing, Hepatitis B vaccination or declination, drug testing, COVID vaccination verification, competency testing, and background/APS checks
