Job Title: Powder Coat Painter
Department: Paint | Reports To: Paint Supervisor 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Painter to join our sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing team. This role is responsible for applying powder and other coatings using various painting techniques and equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply powder coating and other finishes to surfaces using appropriate equipment

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, masking, and cleaning

• Operate paint ovens, spray washers, and related machinery

• Maintain a clean work area and conduct preventative equipment maintenance

• Track daily paint usage and manage powder inventory

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality

• Support additional tasks or cross-train in other departments as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of painting or coating experience preferred

• Ability to use paint equipment, hand tools, and read work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
