Mental Health Monitor / Sitter (MHM/S)
Location: Maricopa County Jail 
Schedule: 3x 12-hour shifts per week | Day & Night Openings
Commitment: 13-week minimum

Overview

We are seeking attentive and compassionate individuals to serve as Mental Health Monitors/Sitters. In this role, you will provide continuous observation—either in-person or via video surveillance—to ensure patient safety and well-being in a clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously observe patients (directly or via monitoring systems)

• Report behavioral changes and safety concerns immediately

• Work with clinical staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum 6 months experience in a healthcare support or clerical role

• Prior patient monitoring/observation experience preferred
