We are seeking an experienced Lathe/Mill Machinist to join a growing manufacturing facility in the Saginaw, TX area.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background operating and setting up manual and/or CNC lathes and milling machines, with a strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain manual and CNC lathes or milling machines to produce precision metal parts.

Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.

Select appropriate tooling, materials, and machine settings for each job.

Measure, inspect, and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments to ensure accuracy.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and keep work areas clean and organized.

Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

Collaborate with engineers and production staff to optimize processes and minimize downtime.

Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications

3–5 years of experience operating lathes and/or milling machines (manual CNC).

Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Proficient with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.

Basic understanding of G-code and CNC programming preferred.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
