RN Position Available at Maricopa County Jail – Immediate Need!
No Floating – Intake, Transfer, and Release (ITR) ONLY

Shift Availability:

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Commitment:

• Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Enhance patient care experiences and improve clinical outcomes while promoting a positive, healthy work environment
• Deliver direct and medical nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and monitor patients' behavior and physical condition
• Transcribe doctor’s orders, administer medications, review treatment plans, and assist during sick calls
• Accurately document patient records and complete nursing assessments
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Active Arizona RN License
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• CPR & First Aid Certification (must be in-person training from the Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Negative TB test and proof of MMR vaccination
• Respirator Fit Test (N95)
• Must pass an extensive background check
• Provide 2 references (personal and professional)
