Seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician to join a growing company in the Arlington, TX area.
Perks of the role:
Full Time
Day Shift
8am-5pm
Travel required
$70-$75K starting off
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Work on a wide array of equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts and diesel engines
• Opportunities to travel and train customers
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical system
• Inspect equipment used by customers
• Preside at trade shows, coordinating business development and educating possible customers about the benefits of the products.
• Must have a basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and incorporate the principles in dealings with customers and team members
• Meet or exceed the training requirements for self-development during the year
• Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position
Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Current Passport (Ability to Travel)
• Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and/or utility equipment
• Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 5+ years in a similar field
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Experience with mobile elevated work platforms-type equipment
• Extensive knowledge of aerial equipment
• Ability to work in a team-based safety focused workplace
• Able to work in a fast-past environment
• Basic computer skills
