Inventory Control Analyst
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing inventory processes, and ensuring efficient stock management within the organization. This role involves monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, analyzing data for trends and inefficiencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support operational goals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) software and a strong understanding of inventory management principles within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Maintain accurate records in the JD Edwards (JDE) system to ensure data integrity.

Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to streamline inventory management processes.

Identify inventory trends and inefficiencies, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Generate and analyze inventory reports to support decision-making and maintain inventory accuracy above 98% in the ERP system.

Communicate inventory status to internal and external stakeholders.

Reconcile customer concerns, respond to inquiries, and provide open purchase order reports.

Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures, including FDA and GMP standards.

Adhere to all plant safety rules and OSHA regulations, including proper machine operation and safe lifting practices.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in JD Edwards (JDE) system is required.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
-
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.

Hourly pay range: $26 to $30 per hour (non-exempt, eligible for overtime).
