Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $18/hr
Location: South of the Airport

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible for inspecting, planning, organizing, and coordinating both initial and final inspections of finished games and gaming components, including new and reconditioned equipment. This position also assists with the inspection of returned parts and equipment (RMAs) and works closely with service and production teams to prevent recurring issues and maintain high product standards.

Responsibilities
The Quality Control Inspector ensures that all products meet established quality standards by:

  • Conducting inspections of completed games and components, verifying accuracy against sales orders, and ensuring all required documentation is included.

  • Reviewing and developing procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy of inspections.

  • Providing feedback from the field to recommend improvements in quality control and production methods.

  • Recording and analyzing inspection data, documenting defects, errors, and failures, and working to streamline reporting and tracking processes.

  • Establishing inspection requirements for incoming RMAs, sorting items by defect severity, and identifying goods for return.

  • Assisting with unloading, unpacking, and distribution of incoming shipments.

  • Preparing weekly inspection and quality reports using Excel and maintaining professional communication through Outlook.

  • Supporting occasional installation of inspected products at customer sites, including travel when required.

  • Assisting with truck loading and other tasks as needed.

Competencies and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality control processes, and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to analyze failures, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of electronics, circuit boards, processors, and computer hardware/software.

  • Customer service orientation with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate’s degree, certification in electronics, quality assurance, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of three years of relevant inspection or quality assurance experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Mathematical ability to perform calculations involving algebra, geometry, proportions, percentages, and measurements.
