Chemical Mixer – Dry/Liquid Mix Production - URGENTLY HIRING!!!

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Mixer to join our dry/liquid department for a leading manufacturer of specialty chemical products for the concrete and masonry construction industry. The Chemical Mixer will be responsible for accurately weighing, blending, and mixing raw materials to produce high-quality chemical products while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Batch Preparation & Mixing:

  • Accurately measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to specific formulations and batch tickets.
  • Operate mixing and blending equipment for dry and liquid chemical products.
  • Monitor mixing processes and adjust as needed to ensure consistency and quality.

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

  • Safely operate forklifts, mixers, pumps, and other production equipment.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of mixing tanks, hoses, and tools.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

• Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and report any deviations.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

• Safety & Housekeeping:

  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, including PPE usage and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

Key Competencies:

• Proficiency in reading and comprehending English.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:

• Manufacturing experience: 3 years (Preferred)
• Mixing/Batch Making experience: 2 years (Required)
• Experience with High-Speed Mixers or Horizontal Slow Mixers (Required)

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Occasional overtime as needed
