Job Summary

AtWork Personnel is currently hiring an experienced Café Cook in Tyler, TX. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who enjoys preparing high-quality breakfast and lunch items in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining excellent food quality and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and inventory levels.
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining accuracy.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and utensils.
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment is required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
