Therapist – Intensive Outpatient Services
Freedom’s Therapist provides psychological care to members facing behavioral challenges, including substance abuse, PTSD, post-incarceration syndrome, and co-occurring behavioral health needs. This role collaborates with treatment teams, members, and families to support recovery and community re-entry.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy sessions.

Develop and implement treatment plans.

Support members in goal-setting, recovery planning, and social skill development.

Monitor member progress and report concerns.

Facilitate 2–3 hour group sessions, five days per week.

Complete documentation and attend team meetings.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in behavioral health.
-
LAC, LMSW, or LAAC (or licensure within 6 months).

Minimum 2 years behavioral health experience.
-
CPR/FA and crisis de-escalation certification required.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office and EHR systems.
Work Environment:

Outpatient clinical office; group facilitation in classroom/group rooms.

Occasional offsite meetings or community activities.
-
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
