Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate welder joins metal parts using a tool that generates intense heat.

A welder can also polish and smooth out metal surfaces they weld together. They will use either a computer to remotely control equipment or hand-held equipment to cut or join metal parts, fill a hole or fix seams in metal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing blueprints

  • Managing machines that manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment

  • Planning layouts and measurements

  • Testing welded surfaces

  • Joining metal parts using intense heat

  • Polishing and smoothing out metal surfaces

  • Using either computer-controlled or hand-held equipment to cut or join metal parts, fill holes, or fix seams.

Qualifications:

        • Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of three (3) years in the manufacturing industry.

        • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, squares, calipers etc.).

        • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.

        • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift heavy materials up to 50 pounds, unassisted.

Working Conditions:

• May require standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to heat or cold.

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
