Job Details

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

• Designing, laying out, and fabricating metal framework for commercial and industrial buildings.
• Working with metal components to construct, repair, and maintain structures such as buildings, bridges, pipelines, and industrial machinery.
• Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan the welding process.
• Cutting, repairing, and assembling, girders, beams, columns, and other building, components to form complete structures.
• Bolting down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
• Responsibilities,  read and interpret spool sheets, schematics, and other structural diagrams.
• Repairing of metal structures such as bridges, building framework, and auto body parts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong customer service and communication skills required
• Ability to lift, a minimum of 50 pounds required
• Basic English literacy and math skills required.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability and knowledge to set-up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
