Pipe Welders Needed Job Available in Irving, Texas
Seeking pipe welders in the Irving area.Hours: 6AM-4:30 PM Monday- Friday
Rate of Pay: starting at $24/hr
Responsibilities:
- Must provide your own welding equipment and hood.
- Ideal candidate uses mig, tig, flux-core or stick welding process, must pass one ore more applicable test destructive and non-destructive test.
- Layout and mark weld points on parts, sub -assembles using rule, square, scribe, or templates, two pin holes.
- Experience in reading and understanding blueprints.
- Works with different types and sizes of pipe and structural steel.
- Operates cutting equipment.
- Operates iron worker, overhead cranes, rigging, pipe threading machine, tube bending machine, and various pneumatic hand tools safety.
- Performs position welds code materials.
- Operates basic cutting equipment.
- Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches.

- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures such as GMAW/MIG hard-wire, metal core and flux core
- Professional Certification preferred
- Must be able to pass an on-site welding test.
- No felonies in the past 7 years.
- Ability to bend, squat, climb, stoop, twist and reach frequently.
- Ability to lift 50lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently.
